The final will be held on 18 May between Lion City Sailors and Sharjah FC.

The use of the venue is subject to a final inspection and formal approval by the AFC in early May.

In a media statement on 23 April, the Sailors said, that “over the next few weeks, the club will be working closely with Sport Singapore, the Football Association of Singapore and sports industry experts to make the necessary upgrades and preparations to ensure the venue is match-ready for the big night on May 18.”

The club also said that ticket details will be announced soon.

The announcement comes after Sharjah FC protested against the use of Jalan Besar Stadium, which has been the venue for all of the Sailors matches in the ACL2 this season.

The Bishan Stadium is the homeground for the Sailors, along with Balestier Khalsa in the Singapore Premier League.
