BG Tampines will have a new head coach at the helm for the 2025/2026 season.
On 16 June, sources close to TMSG confirmed that Gavin Lee will leave the club.
An announcement is imminent within the next 72 hours.
His move comes hot on the heels of the departure of chairman Desmond Ong, who has handed over the reins of the club to banker Shungo Sakamoto.

Ong is currently serving as deputy chairman of the Football Association of Singapore.
TMSG understands that the players in the club have been informed of his departure.
Lee’s departure does not come as a surprise, given that he has been also been assistant national coach of the Lions, assisting national coach Tsutomu Ogura.
This arrangement has led to questions about fairness in selection, given that a substantial number of players called up have been from Tampines, along with Lion City Sailors.
During the last FIFA window, eight of 23 players called up were from Tampines, while seven were from Lion City Sailors.
Yes, there were more players called up from Tampines than from the Sailors, who were the treble winners.
Lee joined Tampines Rovers as the assistant to Kadir Yahaya in 2017 and was elevated to the role of head coach in 2019.
While he lifted the Singapore Cup in his first year in charge as head coach, he has not led Tampines to the league title.
Separately, it is also understood that assistant Mustafic Fahrudin is also set for a departure from BG Tampines as he heads back to Serbia.
