Singapore football league amateur side Tengah FC have confirmed that its players are among 11 men charged for rioting in Toa Payoh.
At least five Tengah FC players are said to be among the 11 men who have been charged in court for the brawl which took place in a coffee shop in Toa Payoh on 24 August.

Two victims suffered stab wounds.
The 11 men charged are B Vinaash, 21; Khailash Misra Goppal, 22; Visva Manivannan, 23; Gokeda Prushothaman Naidu Gokeda Somu Naidu, 25; Vignesh Manivannan, 27; Jeremy Pravindran, 28; Ghanisheelan Vijaya Kumar, 30; Gokeda Sathish Naidu, 31; Joshua Navindran Suranthiran, 32; Viknesh Rajandren, 33, and Roy Tan Guo Rong, 34.

According to the Straits Times, each man faces one charge of rioting while armed with a deadly weapon.
In photos posted from the crime scene, a training kit worn by Tengah FC was seen on the ground with a cleaver.

TENGAH FC CONFIRMS ITS PLAYERS WERE INVOLVED
Amateur football side Tengah FC have itself confirmed that its players were involved in the bloody brawl.
They have since been suspended.
It did not name the players nor confirm how many of them were involved.
In a post on Instagram on 1 September, the club said: “Upon being informed of their involvement, the players were immediately suspended from all club activities pending the outcome of the police investigation.
“As a club, we maintain a zero-tolerance stance against violence, gangsterism, or any conduct that brings disrepute to the sport or our community.”
TMSG received a series DMs about Tengah FC immediately after the discovery that a few of the club’s players were said to be involved in the brawl.
The club has twice applied to play in the Singapore Premier League.
It has failed both times so far.
