Former Lions goalkeeper Rezal Hassan suffers stroke.

Former national goalkeeper Rezal Hassan has suffered a stroke.

Sources close to TMSG shared a photograph of the 50-year-old at the Singapore General Hospital.

TMSG has also been informed that his wife has informed multiple friends that Rezal is unable to work until further notice. 

A former team-mate of Rezal said that he is hardworking and takes on multiple coaching roles at various academies to make a living.

He was last seen traveling with the Singa Legends team to Pekanbaru for a friendly along with Fandi Ahmad and other former national players like Itimi Dickson and Malek Awab.

It is understood that he collapsed at home a day after returning from Pekanbaru.

Rezal has 60 caps to his name, and is also possesses the 1998 Tiger Cup winners medal.
