The DARE Festival 2024 lit up the Gateway Theatre on 13 November 2024, showcasing an extraordinary lineup of dynamic artists who champion inclusivity and courage through the arts.
With powerful performances from Singapore’s own jazz icon Jacintha and pop sensation shazza, along with groundbreaking artists from the disabled community such as Andrea Hosking (main photo) and Dr. Azariah Tan, the festival captivated audiences with a journey of self-discovery, resilience, and empowerment.
Attended by guest-of-honour, Mr Baey Yam Keng, Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Sustainability and the Environment and Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Transport, the festival was themed in three acts—Dare To Be, Dare To Live, and Dare To Be-Live—celebrating diversity and urging attendees to embrace individual differences.
