A foreign footballer from Balestier Khalsa is being investigated for alleged molest.
TMSG can confirm that the player in question allegedly molested a female during an after-season party which was also attended by a few other team-mates.
TMSG understands that the incident happened on either 17 or 18 May.
TMSG also understands that the player is currently out on a police bail.
There is also no indication if the player has sought legal assistance for his alleged indiscretion which is understood to have taken place in Clarke Quay.
The player is needed to report back to the police investigators at the end of this month.
TMSG has sent a WhatsApp message to the club’s general manager Cheng Tim Nee to seek a statement from the club and will update this story if the club has a response.
Balestier Khalsa finished the season in fourth position, and have already announced the departure of coach Peter de Roo.
Former vice-chairman Darwin Jalil had also exited the club earlier.
This story is developing.
