Former Tanjong Pagar United football player Aniq Rizqin has been charged with two counts of assault on 23 July after he punched two Albirex Niigata footballers.
The fracas happened at the end of a Singapore Premier League Under-21 League match in February.
Videos shared by TMSG then went viral, and the player was subsequently released by the club.
The video showed the player punching a 17-year-old Albirex defender in the mouth at Jurong East Stadium at around 9.45pm.
Rizqin is also accused of punching another Albirex defender, Kenji Austin Ho, on the left side of his face that day after the match.
In March, TMSG also shared that the Football Association of Singapore had slapped the player with a 30-month ban.
He was also fined $2,000 over the incident.
The Straits Times has also added that his case will be mentioned again in court on 20 August.
If convicted of assault, an offender can be jailed for up to three years and fined up to $5,000 for each charge.
