Only one team stands in the way of Albirex Niigata as they head towards the 2020 AIA Singapore Premier League title.
Albirex Niigata.
After stealing a 3-2 victory against Lion City Sailors, and watching fellow contenders Tampines Rovers only manage a 2-2 draw against wooden spoonists Tanjong Pagar United, the White Swans will surely now be the odds on favourite for the pandemic title.

Two points separate Albirex from Tampines, with only four matches left to play but Albirex will have to face off against the Stags in one of these encounters.
Albirex have the Young Lions, Tanjong Pagar United and Hougang to round off their ties and if they maintain their form, they can look forward to their fourth title since 2016.
If Albirex Niigata does secure the title, it would be the sixth year in a row since the 2015 season that a Singapore team has not picked up the title in the Singapore Premier League.
Tampines Rovers are the only team who have a chance of upending the White Swans’ surge with the clash against Albirex Niigata on 29 November being the crucial decider in the race to the title.
