Experience Joy In Motion at the Initial Sama.

May 22, 2026

In celebration of Global Wellness Day 2026 and this year’s theme of #JoyMagenta, The Initial Sama invites guests to rediscover joy, connection and emotional harmony through a thoughtfully curated line-up of wellness experiences on Saturday, 13 June
2026.

Rooted in the belief that wellness is not only about physical well-being but also about creating space for connection, reflection, and joy, the programme has been thoughtfully designed to encourage guests to slow down the pace of everyday life and reconnect with themselves and
the people around them.

Against the calming backdrop of The Initial Sama, Singapore’s first wellness-focused serviced residence, the one-day event will bring together wellness practitioners, fitness experts and mental health advocates for a series of sessions spanning yoga, functional movement, mindfulness and recovery.

From sunrise movement sessions in the water to intimate conversations around mental wellness, guests can look forward to a holistic journey that
nurtures both body and mind.

Start of #JoyMagenta with an energising Floating Yoga session by Casper from Floatfit at the pool, inviting participants to experience mindful movement atop water through breath and balance.

Families can also reconnect through a Parent & Child Yoga session led by Amanda at the Courtyard, while Pearlyn and Michelle from Solace Therapy and Consultancy will lead a Mental Wellness Talk focused on emotional resilience, self-awareness and mental wellbeing.

Continuing the day’s focus on holistic wellness, Jing from ALLSET will share practical insights on integrating sustainable fitness into busy lifestyles during a Time Efficient Workout Talk.

Guests can also unwind through an exclusive bathhouse open house experience centred on rest and recovery.

The programme concludes with a Core Movement session by Jeiwin, combining mindful movement and strength-based exercises to improve balance, mobility and body awareness.

“At Sama Wellness, we believe wellness should be both accessible and meaningful. Through this Global Wellness Day programme, we hope to create a space where individuals and families can reconnect with themselves and one another through joyful, intentional experiences,” said
Rosalin Lau, Director of Wellness at The Initial Sama.

As conversations around wellness continue to evolve, Sama Wellness hopes to inspire individuals to view well-being not as an occasional indulgence but as an intentional and sustainable lifestyle practice rooted in balance, presence, and community.

Participation slots for all sessions are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Guests are encouraged to register early to secure their preferred experiences.
