They may have finished the season in sixth spot in the 2016 Great Eastern-Yeo’s S.League but Hougang United have surely started 2017 as champions of the dressing room.
Apart from signing on Philippe Aw from Home United as their head coach, the club has refurbished their dressing room, all in Hougang United’s home colours of black and orange.
The players will also have individual seats to rest their buns while putting on their gear ahead of matches at the home ground at the Hougang Stadium.
The coach was impressed, and said “Superb! Making the difference!” on his Facebook account.
The photos, which first appeared on Hougang United’s Facebook page, have since been shared more than 100 times as at 31 January.
Hougang United fans, who are regarded as the HOOLs, are seem appreciative of the efforts made by the club.
Other have also started giving ideas on how to monetise the new-look dressing rooms.
All we can say is: Steady la Hougang. Now, let’s see the other clubs shape up too.
