Dec 24, 2018 ,

More than 200 swimmers turned up at the Farrer Park Swimming Complex on 24 December from 7.00am onwards to help raise funds for the Chiam See Tong Sports Fund (CSTSF).

The CSTSF was supported by the Aquatic Performance Swim Club (APSC) and all funds raised from the event – Splash for Singapore 2018 will be utilised to assist under-resourced athletes in Singapore.

The CSTSF expects to raise about $10,000 from the swimathon.

Among the athletes seen at the pool were Theresa Goh and Yip Pin Xiu, who train with Mr Ang Peng Siong at the Farrer Park Swimming Complex.

Mr Ang is also the Chairman of the CSTSF, a charity which was established in March 2017.

This is the second consecutive year that the CSTSF has organised the Splash for Singapore.
