Singapore could well earn another medal from the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics.
On 3 September, swimmer Toh Wei Soong finished his Men’s 50m butterfly S7 heat in 29.90s, and was the second fastest qualifier among 12 swimmers.

His time was just 0.19s slower than American Evan Austin, who clocked 29.71s and is the fastest of the eight swimmers who have made the finals which will be held on 3 September at 4.58pm.
The 22-year-old Paralympics debutante timing was also a new national record.
Singapore has already two gold medals in the bag through swimmer Yip Pin Xiu.
At the Rio 2016 Paralympics, Singapore finished the competition with two gold medals, through Yip, and a bronze medal through swimmer Theresa Goh.
