At the end of the finals on 17 December 2023, Moreno Pratama returned in third spot, while Dillan Tan finished the race in fifth spot.

Said Rama, “It was a pretty good day for us as a team.

“Thanks to our team work, we found what was the best approach for AMG to go fast at Silverstone.

“In Qualifying, I clocked a really good time in second position, and the gap was quite close to the pole.

“In the Pre-Final, it was just about maintaining a good position, and I tried not to make any mistakes, because the Final is where it matters.”

He added that there were some “bizzare” moments in the Final, but he managed to slip into first place after doing enough to hold his position till the finish line.

Added Dillan Tan, “It was an alright day for me and was only able to qualify in the middle of the pack due to the lack of confidence in my driving.

“The Pre-Final did not go as planned as well, getting a drive through just right before the lights came out because of a clutch issue but I was able to recover the positions to fifth position through some intense battling.”

Tan, who turns 15 in 2024, was the highest ranked Singaporean finisher at the championship, cementing his position as Singapore’s top sim racer at the moment.

He also retained his title as the 2023 GT World Challenge Esports Asia Sprint Series in September.

The other two Singaporeans – Muhammad Thasbeeh and Muhamad Jynmazvi finished in 10th and 11th overall respectively.

Said third-placed Moreno, “It was unpredictable for me because l was starting on the mid pack, going into the first hairpin and then it was just really chaotic on the inside of the track, after someone spun.

“I escaped it, and luckily I made it into third position safely and went all the way to the finishing line.”

Legion of Racers co-founder Melvin Moh said having three of LOR’s sim racers in the top five slots at the Asia Pacific GT E-Motorsport Championship were testament to the quality of the talent within the team.

“The results show that LOR is arguably the top sim racing team in this region, with the likes of Andika Rama, Moreno Pratama and Dillan Tan consistently featuring on the podium.

“Credit to the boys for working hard, and credit must also go to the team behind the team, who are also putting in the effort to push the boys to greater heights.”
