Singapore-based esports and lifestyle brand Legion of Racers (LOR) have announced a team of 10 drivers for the 2024 season for both its Elite and Ascent programme.

Team captain Andika Rama Maulana will lead LOR’s 2024 assault for its elite team while Ascent will have six new drivers under its wings.

The four drivers who will represent LOR’s esports team for the upcoming season are as follows:

  • Andika Rama Maulana, Indonesia
  • Dillan Tan, Singapore
  • Moreno Pratama, Indonesia
  • Luis Moreno, Philippines

The aim of the LOR Elite team for the 2024 season would be to win championships with the team setting its sights on the GT World Challenge Asia Esports, the Toyota Gazoo Racing GT Cup Asia as well as other major tournaments which have yet to be announced for the year.

“2023 was a phenomenal year for LOR, with members of the team performing in events such as the Toyota GT Gazoo Cup 2023 and the Asia Pacific GT E-Motorsports Championships. Dillan Tan alone captured seven titles over the course of the year,” said Melvin Moh, Co-Founder of LOR.

“We are aiming to continue the momentum from 2023 into 2024 as the team pushes themselves to greater heights across the region.”

In addition, six drivers from across Southeast Asia have been selected for the LOR Ascent programme.

Towards the tail end of 2023, LOR announced the Ascent programme which is aimed to offer opportunities for aspiring sim racers to be part of the LOR community.

Ascent will also serve as an opportunity for LOR to unearth new sim racing talent who will then be able to move on and represent LOR in major competitions.

The full list of racers under Ascent are as follows:

  • Enzo Ison, 15 Years Old, Philippines
  • Jayden Liaw, 15 Years Old, Singapore
  • Benedict Kwan, 17 Years Old, Singapore
  • Ricky Satria, 28 Years Old, Indonesia
  • Wilson Woon, 31 Years Old, Singapore
  • Francis Angelo Gonzales, 31 Years Old, Philippines

Drivers under the Ascent programme will compete in smaller races like the Low Fuel Motorsport to train and evaluate their growth. In addition, they will also be receiving guidance from the main team with set ups and strategies for races.

“Apart from sim racing skills, members of the LOR Ascent programme will also undergo specialised training in areas such as media handling and personal social media management,” added Moh.
