Do Yoga. Be Yoga. $13k raised to support the Chiam See Tong Sports Fund.

Oct 29, 2018 ,

More than 100 yogis turned up at the Gardens By The Bay in support of “Do Yoga. Be Yoga” event organised by lululemon Singapore in support of the Chiam See Tong Sports Fund.

This is the first time that lululemon Singapore supported a beneficiary organisation in Singapore, and the downpour two hours before the scheduled start which threatened to derail the event did not deter the yogis from turning up to support the fund-raiser.

The event raised about $13,000 for the Chiam See Tong Sports Fund, a registered charity.

The Patrons of the Chiam See Tong Sports Fund – Mr Chiam and Mrs Lina Chiam also paid a visit to the venue, to support the yogis who were already in the midst of their salutations.

Said Ang Peng Siong, Chairman of the Board of the Chiam See Tong Sports Fund at the start of the event, “We are thankful to lululemon Athletica for helping us, and for having us as the beneficiary. We hope to be able to help more young children and athletes achieve their dreams.”
