The new and upcoming season of the Singapore Premier League (SPL) will have a new title sponsor.
In invitations sent out to various guests, the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) has indicated that it will unveil the new title sponsor on the day the 2019 season kicks off with the Community Shield 2019 between Home United and Albirex Niigata on 23 February.
The current co-title sponsors of the SPL are Great Eastern and Hyundai, which still shows up on all of the SPL’s platforms.
It is unclear if Great Eastern and Hyundai will continue as co-title sponsors or if the new title sponsor will earn full naming rights to the SPL.
Sources close to The Monitor are indicating that the new title sponsor are possibly from the insurance sector.
