1 Play Sports, the fastest-growing sports media content creation and streaming startup in the Asia-Pacific region, has snagged Michael Fleshman as Consulting Chief Technology Officer to lead technology development, innovation, and strategic planning for the company.
A former Chief Technology Officer of online video streaming platform service HOOQ, Fleshman brings over 20 years of exceptional experience in leading technology and product innovation in the digital media industry. He led the product and platform development of HOOQ from 2017 till 2020.
He is currently also acting as Director of Ajiliti Partners Pte. Ltd., a Singapore-based product technology and asset management consulting firm.

Prior to HOOQ, Fleshman led tech and digital product development at BBC Worldwide from 2012 to 2015 and Financial Times from 2010 to 2012.
He also directed the creation of a white-label platform for SFR, a France-based mobile communications company, while managing the divestiture of the broadband portion of business and re-alignment of AOL online properties from 2006 to 2008.
Fleshman also served as the Chief Technology Officer at MTV from 1999 to 2001 where he directed the creation of Nickelodeon’s first multi-brand online platform and the organisation to support it.
