A Singapore Youth League (SYL) club coach who has been accused of indecent acts, and who is now the subject of a police investigation, has apparently been “suspended” from sitting on the bench during his club matches in the SYL.
TMSG has seen a WhatsApp message which was sent by a senior member of the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) leadership team to another SYL club official whose team participates in the SYL, saying that the coach has been suspended.
“He is suspended from coaching,” the senior official said in his WhatsApp message.
He further went on to share how the match commissioner at the match told the coach to return to the stands when it was discovered that he had approached the team during a recent match.
TMSG has also corroborated the information with two other sources who are aware of the actions.
The FAS did not respond to queries about the “suspension” of the coach in question.
Among the questions asked were if the “suspension” was only in force for matches in the SYL, or do they also cover training sessions involving the young players.
BACKGROUND
The coach in question has been the subject of a few TMSG stories since 18 June when we first exposed how he had allegedly sent a photo of his private parts to a youngster through Instagram.
He then reached out to TMSG wanting to resolve the issue, and “apologise for my shortcomings” but he then did not turn up for a meeting which he proposed.
After the expose, including how he used the club’s X account to follow porn personalities, the club’s social media accounts were turned private.
GRASSROOTS LEADER?
TMSG can also now confirm that the coach was a grassroots members in the northern part of Singapore.

It is not known now if he is still a member of the grassroots team in his area, with the information being shared by a concerned parent.
POLICE PROBE
TMSG has provided all information in our possession to the police for the purpose of their investigations.
The alleged perpetrator still remains defiant, as seen in a recent Instagram exchange with one of the former players.
It is unknown if the player was a victim, but in the exchange, the coach said that he was not bothered by the ongoing investigations.
