Singapore Athletics has been dealt with yet another blow.
On 23 March, the Straits Times reported that both Poh Seng Song and Gary Yeo resigned as members of the management committee.
Poh was a sitting Vice-President (Finance and Partnerships) while Yeo was its athletes commission representative.
Both are former sprinters.
Said Poh, in quotes to the Straits Times, “I am very sad to make this decision and it was very hard.”
Added Yeo, “I feel the direction of the team and what I hd in mind were too difficulty and if I continue staying, it’ll do more harm than good in the long run.”
Poh has not ruled out future involvement in the sport, though.
The next election for office bearers must be held by July 2020.
